Why see a Private Psychologist?

Life can be challenging and difficult to manage at times. Dr Morgan is highly trained to use a variety of evidence-based psychological methods of assessment and treatment for a wide range of issues including:

    • Anxiety

      • Social anxiety

      • Obsessive compulsive disorder

      • Phobias

      • Panic attacks

      • Agoraphobia

      • Health anxiety

      • Depression and low mood

          • Stress

          • Relationship Issues

            • Low self esteem

              • Loss & Bereavement

Often there can be a long waiting list for psychological therapy in the NHS.  In some instances following initial consultations with their GP,  some people decide to self-refer to a private clinical psychologist.  The psychologist will usually be able to see them sooner, offer different treatments and/or offer more sessions or increased flexibility of appointment times than might be available within the NHS.
